An Advanced Policy Analysis for Sonoma County Water Agency

Main Info

This report examines frequently used and innovative clean energy programs in approximately
100 counties in the United States. Cities and counties that are nationally recognized for their
innovation in this area are included in the data, along with a discussion of their major
programs. After examination of these projects, including award-winning or under-recognized
ones, the data is distilled into primary and secondary recommendations for clean energy
programs. The results are distributed using the criteria of Cost, Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)
Allocations and Startup Barriers. The final discussion allows a policymaker to quickly reach
an informed decision regarding next steps based on each alternative’s associated tradeoffs
and projected future outcomes.
